Definition of social selling:

Social selling is the process of using social media in order to boost sales.

Salespeople can use social media to respond directly to questions, engaging with potential customers on a personal level and tailoring their shopping experience.

Social selling can also facilitate indirect sales. For instance, by responding to a prospective customer on social with advice or other product recommendations, a business’ brand gains increased visibility with other users on that social platform.
