Acme appoints high flyer for global accounts

Acme has appointed Joe Bloggs as vice president of global accounts. Multi-linguist Bloggs has 17 years of managing prestigious sales organizations.

“Joe Bloggs’ extensive background in international sales management in the IT industry has provided him with the optimal combination of knowledge, skills and experience necessary to run a successful global account sales program,” said Garry Reichert, vice president of global alliances and accounts.

Recently, Bloggs was vice president of enterprise accounts at eNormicon, where he led the worldwide implementation of its accounts sales organization. He was also vice president of product management, responsible for defining market and business requirements, market strategies and sales training programs.

Before working at eNormicon, he held several management positions at Oracle Corporation in the United States and Europe, developing a global accounts sales group that generated $2 billion of business. He also worked with Cap Gemini and AES Lanier. Bloggs has extensive experience in the Asian and Pacific Rim markets and in Latin America, and is fluent in English, German, French and Dutch.
