SalesForce.com has joined a strategic partnership to make its automation application, SFA, available to Allegis users.
Resellers will be able to manage selling processes within a single online portal. In a typical scenario, a vendor passes a sales lead to a reseller through the Allegis service. The reseller then manages the opportunity through its direct sales force using the SFA solution, and ultimately, reports the result back to the vendor through Allegis.
“We formed this partnership with one simple goal in mind, which is to make resellers more successful,” said Mark Morrissey, vice president of business development and product management, Allegis Corporation. “Resellers can now remain within our portal throughout the entire sales process, and at the same time, are able to use a best-of-class solution to manage their selling process.”
Salesforce.com recently announced that more than 20,000 users have registered for the service. Allegis has the most deployed customers using comprehensive PRM solutions.
