Experian has formed a strategic alliance with FloNetwork, an application service provider (ASP) specialising in e-mail campaign marketing management.
The alliance combines Experian’s direct marketing expertise with FloNetwork’s ability to deliver a multi-channel target marketing solution.
“This alliance extends Experian’s direct marketing services to include permission-based e-mail marketing solutions,” said David Coupe, managing director of Experian’s marketing services division. “We intend to fully integrate these services within our traditional campaign production and management systems so that we can execute seamless online and offline promotions. FloNetwork has a track record in direct marketing in the USA and we firmly believe that joining forces with them will allow Experian to deliver new marketing mechanisms to our customers in the UK and European markets.”
Permission-based marketing encourages consumers to participate in a long-term, interactive, voluntary marketing relationship. Combining resources and marketing tools gives marketers the ability to reach their customers and prospects to drive sales and profits.
“The Experian alliance will extend our presence into the UK and Europe, a market for direct e-mail marketing that is expected to grow tremendously over the next five years,” commented Eric Goodwin, chief executive officer for FloNetwork.
Experian is a subsidiary of The Great Universal Stores and has headquarters in Nottingham, UK and Orange, California, US. Its 12,000 staff support clients in over 50 countries.
FloNetwork, formerly Media Synergy, was recently named one of the fastest 50 growing technology companies in Canada by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. The company has offices in the New York, Chicago, Toronto and San Francisco.
