Applix has expanded its client base in Q2, adding several key clients and new partnerships to its list. With over 4,000 customers and 100 partners worldwide, the company is building on its position in the emerging market for demand chain management.
“This quarter marked significant strides for Applix in sharing our expertise with companies who must make customers a priority to thrive in the new economy,” said CEO Alan Goldsworthy. “We have enjoyed collaborating with many emerging companies – ranging from healthcare and finance to telecommunications and online services. We’ve also expanded our vision through many new-found partnerships with companies that share our objective to offer the best eBusiness solutions.”
In the United States, drugstore.com and MDC Holdings have purchased Applix’s iTM1 planning and analytics solutions. MDC Holdings is one of the largest homebuilders in the US and is using the solution for forecasting, budgeting, and feasibility reporting in its finance department.
Applix was also successful in Europe, solidifying new accounts through channel partners. In Germany, Applix won the account of conTakt, a communication center and customer service provider. Through a partnership with Siemens Business Services, conTakt selected Applix’s CRM solution to to handle its customer base.
In a contract with global telecommunications solutions provider, KSCL, Applix will provide CRM solutions to Turkish Telecoms Group, TELSIM. Applix also signed a contract with Pelephone, Israel’s second largest cellular network operator.
The company marked the quarter with the development of iEnterprise Version 8.0 for iCRM, an internet-based design which includes multi-time zone, multi-language and multi-currency support.
