I'm interested in the area of data integrity and how big the market is, how widely accepted it is, and how companies go about ensure the quality of their data is as good as possible.

Does anyone have any market research or case studies that can show how much a company saved by 'cleansing' their data? How they went out it (what products, processes)? Any statistics about European markets? Who uses it most? Any information is greatly appreciated.

Joseph,

THere's a number of papers in the library that should help you. If you go to the library advanced search page ( http://www.crm-forum.com/library/search_adv.html ), and type 'Data Warehouse' in the subject field (without the quotes) and press search, you should get around 50 documents returned, many of which might be helpful.

In particular, have a look at:
Getting Started: Building a Customer Knowledge Infrastructure, and
Customer-Centric Data Warehousing: The Four Challenges

Acxiom and Harte-Hankes are two major players in this marketplace.

I hope these help.
