DuPont selects ‘journey leaders’ to develop eBusiness

iXL, MarchFirst, and Proxicom have been selected by DuPont as eBusiness strategic partners. Designated as eBusiness “journey leaders”, the firms are accountable for the journey from strategy through implementation.

They will combine their strategic, technological and design expertise with DuPont business units’ knowledge of markets ranging from plastics to apparel.

“With the ‘journey leader’ concept, we leverage and focus all of our eBusiness resources with a level of results accountability never before possible,” said Jeff Peterson, vice president of DuPont global eBusiness. “These firms form a unique partnership with our business units to deliver the high-value solutions our customers want.”

The companies develop project management processes, eBusiness strategies and eTechnology. A number of projects are already underway across DuPont businesses.

DuPont is a science company, delivering science-based solutions in food and nutrition; health care; apparel; home and construction; electronics; and transportation. Founded in 1802, the company operates in 70 countries and has 94,000 employees.
