The leading eWorkforce Planning (EWP) company has chosen Pivotal's eRelationship family of eCRM solutions to improve and optimise customer relationships through the Web.
Icarian President and CEO Doug Merrit said the deal would allow his company to boost profitability by shortening the sales cycle and improving customer satisfaction. The Pivotal package was chosen on the back of its flexible architecture, out-of-the-box functionality and optimisation for Microsoft technology.
Merrit told CRM News the package would help Icarian manage their relationships with Web customers and partners while fully integrating Web-based eCRM with their front-office operation.
"We're forging an exciting new market category, eWorkforce Planning, that enables organisations to leverage their human resources for strategic advantage," stressed Merrit. "We recognise that total customer focus must be our top priority to ensure our success in this breakthrough new market and Pivotal's eCRM solution will keep us several lengths ahead of other market entrants by making it possible for us to offer even faster, more efficient customer service."
Pivotal specialise in providing eCRM solutions that merge CRM and e-business to unify the activities and transactions of employees, business partners, and customers over the Internet. The company provides software, professional services, content, hosted application services and the integration of online services.
Pivotal describe their eRelationship application as a next generation eCRM suite of two integrated Web applications which allow companies to build Internet Relationship Hubs for conducting online marketing, sales and customer service with enterprise Web customers, sales and service partners and prospects.
