Magic Software Enterprises has appointed David Cropper as vice president of sales for North American operations. Cropper, who has extensive experience managing sales of e-commerce and CRM business solutions, is expected to play a key role in expanding Magic’s position.
Cropper, who began his career as an account manager with Digital Equipment more than 15 years ago, most recently was employed by Remedy, a provider of CRM business solutions. There, he grew revenues by more than 70%, building the company’s Southwest regional salesforce from scratch and establishing a successful e-commerce sales model that led to Remedy’s first e-procurement deal.
“David’s ability to recruit top-notch people and develop successful sales teams, should grow Magic’s position,” said Rephael Inbar, president of North American operations.
Cropper, who graduated from Ohio University, holds a masters of business administration degree from Pepperdine University. He will work out of Magic’s Irvine, California office, reporting directly to Inbar.
