Sheen Khoury, former senior vice president of strategic sales for Exodus, has joined Primary Knowledge as its new senior vice president of sales.
Peter Adams, CEO, Primary Knowledge, said: “Sheen’s accomplishments at Exodus are legendary, and we’re thrilled to have him join our management team.”
Khoury has an extraordinary track record. In just four years, he built Exodus’ global sales staff from one to 100, securing one third of the company’s annual revenue. Under his leadership, Exodus’ largest enterprise customers were acquired, around 25% of the entire Fortune 500.
Commenting on his move, Khoury said, “Four years ago, I saw the writing on the wall in terms of the necessity of outsourced infrastructure systems, and Exodus has proven to be one of the greatest success stories of the Internet sector.
“Because Primary Knowledge is the only service provider offering a best-of-breed, end-to-end data warehouse and analytics solution, it is solely poised to dominate the market. I’m excited to join this visionary organization.”
Outsourced data management is emerging as a highly strategic niche within the e-business services industry. Jupiter Communications recently reported that the outsourced service model is the key to successful data analysis for Internet businesses. In its report, ‘The Personalization Chain’, Jupiter stated, “Web ventures without the time or patience necessary for an in-house best-of-breed solution should look to data application service providers (ASPs) such as Primary Knowledge . . . for data aggregation and analysis.”
Primary Knowledge offers a subscription-based, turnkey service which removes the major barriers faced by e-businesses – lack of in-house technology, analytical expertise, and time. The company is headquartered in New York City.
