Facebook has unveiled a new networking platform for its growing number of advertisers and prospective advertisers.
The launch of Facebook Studio is targeting PR and advertising agencies and media strategy firms with the offer of support for creative social advertising.
The platform allows users to learn about using areas of the site such as Deals, Ads and Pages for marketing campaigns, as well as browsing Facebook advertising success stories. Two popular Facebook campaigns showcased on Studio are BT’s 'wedding' and Skittles’ 'Mob the Rainbow'.
A further aspect of the site allows users to submit their own campaigns and receive feedback on them. By submitting them they become eligible to compete in the Facebook Awards and appear in a permanent collection of campaigns called 'The Spotlight'.
Accompanying the launch, Facebook has announced that it will be hosting interactive sessions for prospective advertsers as part of Facebook Studio Live, which will run in conjunction with the One Show Creative Week in New York.
