GoldMine Software has changed its name to FrontRange Solutions. The new company will retain eCRM products and service applications while moving into more web-based products and e-business solutions.
The new focus addresses the need to help small to medium-sized organizations survive on the Internet. For months, industry marketing analysts have been saying that small companies need to offer e-business solutions and learn to better manage the interactions they have with their customers.
“In the new Internet-focused economy, small and medium-sized organizations must have in place the infrastructure to compete with large of companies. It is a matter of survival,” said Dana Buys, chairman of FrontRange Solutions. “FrontRange will deliver enterprise level, web-based solutions at a fraction of the cost and complexity.”
In the new structure, the GoldMine division will focus on eCRM; the Heat division will handle service and support; while a new division will deliver integrated e-business solutions and offer a suite of applications for companies with complex e-commerce requirements.
