IBM beefs up CRM offering

IBM’s determination to tap into the CRM consultancy market was in full view this week when it signed a partnership with contact centre outsourcer 7C. The result will be an offering called IBM CRM Management Services, targeted at the mid to large sized enterprise in Europe.

With the worldwide market for CRM operations management is expected to grow to $82.7 billion in 2005 according to International Data Corporation, IBM is clearly making sure it has enough pieces on the board to make an impact. The new offering will fall under the wider auspices of the IBM Global Services division where it will apparently ‘augment IBM’s end to end offering’.
