iXL Enterprises, has announced a new client service and delivery organization, including the heads of its five industry groups and six service lines. The company also named managers in several other key positions.

The new managers have been evaluating their respective organizations, and as a result, iXL said it will reduce the workforce from 1,300 employees to approximately 1,000 employees.

Most of these eliminated positions were involved in general web building roles. iXL, however, expects the reduction to be short-term as it continues to recruit in client management, CRM and supply chain consulting services.
