Janssen-Cilag has successfully supplied Osygen Pharma CRM software to over 350 users at its UK headquarters in High Wycombe. Oxygen Pharma was implemented on a Compaq Proliant server running an Oracle 7 database and Compaq laptops. The system is now live.
Janssen-Cilag, part of the world’s largest healthcare company, Johnson & Johnson, is ranked among the top 10 ethical pharmaceutical companies worldwide.
The company produces Eprexae, a breakthrough treatment for anaemia, with sales in excess of $1billion and Risperdalae, an innovative medicine for schizophrenia, which won the first ever International Prix Galien for outstanding pharmaceutical achievement.
JCL required a customer relationship management solution that could combine their existing multi-database structure, enhance management information and provide a fully Y2K compliant solution.
Oxygen was chosen because it was able to accurately model the UK NHS structure, and its integrated Reports Suite provided management with the capability to produce sophisticated reports. They merged four databases into one in 55 days before implementing Oxygen Pharma to JCL’s central systems, field sales and marketing teams.
