Fastlink, a member of Egypt’s Orascom Telecom Group, has implemented SLP InfoWare predictive CRM software to bolster customer loyalty.
With an 87% market share in Jordan, Fastlink is the leading operator in one of the fastest-growing cellular markets in the Middle East. The company forecasts Jordan will reach 1.6 million subscribers by 2003 and have a 30% penetration rate.
Jordan Mobile Telephone Services (JMTS/Fastlink), founded in 1995, was the first operator to introduce mobile services into Jordan. In 2000, it became a subsidiary of Orascom Telecom, the largest GSM network operator in the Middle East and Africa, with more than 19 cellular operators in the region. The number of users currently totals 560,000 (August 2001).
