Macon appoints 2 Senior Consultants

Leading UK database marketing and evaluation consultancy, Macon Consulting Limited, has appointed Dr Max Ratcliff as a Senior Consultant and Lucy Prentice as a Senior Marketing Consultant. Both will be working on a variety of key accounts including Halifax and Cornhill Direct.

Dr Ratcliff joins Macon from Abbey National, where he had been Project Leader in the Customer Analysis & Modelling Department after joining in 1996 as a Senior Credit Analyst. He will reporting to John Kershaw, Analysis Director, and brings with him a wealth of experience in a wide range of activities, including market research, system development, system dynamics, statistical analysis and computing.

Lucy Prentice joins Macon from IPC Magazines, where she had been the database marketing manager, responsible for the utilisation of the company’s relational database in the delivery of creative direct marketing projects. Lucy will report to Kath Ginn, Director of Marketing Consultancy, and brings with her considerable experience in a range of activities, including market research, project planning and implementation, database building and the design and creation of direct marketing campaigns.

Commenting on the appointments, Brian Birkhead, Managing Director of Macon, said:

Max’s past record in the analysis field speaks for itself, having worked at a number of blue-chip companies and undertaken a PhD, while Lucy has a great deal of experience in all aspects of direct marketing. We are delighted that they have both agreed to join the team."
