Unveil Technologies has been selected as a nominee for the MIT Sloan eBusiness Awards (eBAs), .a major event recognizing global advances and leadership in the field of eBusiness. Unveil is a finalist for the “Rookie of the Year” category, which recognizes the emerging business best positioned to generate growth via an innovative business model.

Some 754 total nominations were submitted for the eBA program’s 14 award categories – the highest level of interest since the program’s founding. Only five companies were selected as nominees for each category. Winners in eight primary award categories will be chosen by the MIT Sloan eBA jury, which consists of leaders from industry, academia and media. Winners will be announced at the eBusiness Awards Ceremony on 17th April.

“We are very pleased to learn that Unveil has been recognized by the MIT Sloan eBA program, especially given the extremely competitive nomination process,” said Peter Durlach, President of Unveil.

Unveil was recently invited to join a select panel at the Harvard Business School, along with established industry leaders such as IBM, SpeechWorks and Motorola, to discuss the business impact of speech recognition software.

In December, Unveil won accolades from Giga Information Group when an audience of business and financial professionals gave Unveil the Overall Winner, Most Innovative Product and Best Business Potential awards after a demonstration of its software at a conference dedicated to emerging technologies.
