Motive enters the Asia-pacific market with Fujitsu

Fujitsu is to deploy Motive's solution on millions of PC products in Japan over the next year, marking its entry into the Asia-Pacific region. The built-in solution will provide service and support to consumers.

Fujitsu new products are enabled with Microsoft XP. As new operating systems often breed new questions and problems from end users, customers may experience an increased need for service.

Motive's software gathers detailed context about the users and details about the machines and then uses the data to deliver highly targeted self-service solutions. This enables the users to solve many problems without having to wait for assistance from service staff.

When self-help is not applicable, Motive's software electronically escalates the problem to a Fujitsu service representative. The service analyst receives the contextual information to answer questions more efficiently without having to troubleshoot from scratch.
