Lanier Healthcare, a company that offers document applications to help health care professionals create and manage mission-critical health information, has gone live with

Lanier used The Baer Group with a comprehensive suite of integrated solutions including Financials, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Sales, Customer Relationship Management, Workplace Portal and Business Warehouse. The implementation was completed on time and within budget.

Acquired in December 2000 by Platinum Equity, Lanier Healthcare required an implementation that would seamlessly transition its customers from its legacy system to its new mySAP system. As a result of the spin-off from its former parent, Lanier Healthcare needed to replace its entire application infrastructure in six months. Not only did the application infrastructure change, so did the business model as it improved its operations during the course of the implementation.

David Baethke, vice president of consulting services at The Baer Group, said: "As a new stand-alone company, Lanier Healthcare had an urgency to work with an SAP Service Partner that would provide expertise in implementing SAP within a stringent timeline."

The Baer Group is a US SAP Services Partner that provides a range of SAP consulting services throughout the SAP product life cycle, including implementation, project management, training, system upgrades, development, new module implementation, and contract and permanent staffing.
