NCR and Shana form alliance

NCR Corporation’s Systemedia Group, developers of consumables and internet-based document management solutions, has formed a relationship with Shana Corporation, a developer of integrated electronic forms management solutions for the enterprise. Through the new alliance, NCR will expand its forms consultation and document management services by jointly marketing and selling Shana’s e-forms technologies.

NCR will use Shana's Informed E-Forms Portal via NCR On-Line, an internet-based tool that allows users to place orders, track their status and create real-time inventory and reports.

The system solves a fundamental business problem: the management of hundreds, even thousands of forms. The potential benefits are significant: a properly integrated solution can help to reduce cycle times, save expense, and help with issues such as regulatory compliance. The same framework can be used for B2B e-business applications.

By using the Shana E-Forms Portal, NCR will provide customers with a web-based framework to design, deploy and process any form, in a way that evolves with the infrastructure.
