Martin Sjöberg, previously manager of the business area of investment and banking, has taken over as president and CEO of Entra.

Sjöberg is 37 years of age and came to Entra with the acquisition of Mixware in 1996. Since then, he has positioned Entra as a leading supplier of fund supermarkets and solutions within asset and risk management in the European market.

“In my new assignment, one of my most important tasks will be to continue the international expansion that we successfully started last year,” said Sjöberg. “The market potential for Entra’s services looks very good throughout the whole of Europe and I view the future with great confidence.”

Sjöberg succeeds Bo Nordlander, who has left for pastures new. Fred Alpsten, previously deputy business area manager, has taken over Sjöberg’s previous position.

Entra is a part of TietoEnator and is a market-leading partner for eFinance solutions on the European market. Entra has 270 customers and 460 employees in Europe.

With a staff of 10,000, TietoEnator is a supplier of high value-added IT services in Europe. It provides consulting, systems development and integration, operation and support, product development services for customers, and software services. The group has services areas such as telecoms, banking and finance, the public sector and forestry.
