New COO for Parity brings focus to client relationship management

Heather Moore, previously operations director at Parity Solutions, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Reporting directly to Parity Group CEO, Ian Miller, Moore will assume immediate responsibility for the Solutions business, which has an annual turnover of £77 million. Her primary goals for the business will be a move towards expansion through the implementation of the business strategy recently announced by the Parity Group.

Parity Solutions offers business and IT consultancy, creative design, development, implementation and support services in content management, interactive business, CRM, Web enablement, security and applications management, and will continue to focus on these key areas.

The appointment of Heather Moore has been effected as one aspect of Parity’s strategy to develop higher value-added service offerings and to improve the focus on client relationship management.

Before joining Parity Solutions, Moore worked in EASAMS commercial division for eight years, and was instrumental in developing it from a start-up unit with six people to a business with over 300 staff and a turnover of £20 million per annum. Moore has been on the Parity Solutions team since 1994, when she was taken on as the systems division director. Reporting directly to the managing director, she was involved in helping to transform the business from a traditional systems integrator into an e-business services company.

Heather Moore, Chief Operating Officer at Parity Solutions, explained her viewpoint in the new position: "Having established Parity Solutions as a profitable e-business solutions provider, our next role is to continue developing our client relationship management and raise the profile of the company amongst our key sectors. These include government, finance, manufacturing, communications and energy.

Ian Miller, CEO of Parity Group commented on Moore’s appointment: "Heather’s experience of growing and developing IT businesses speaks for itself. By taking charge of the sales and operational tasks, Heather will be able to improve co-ordination of our client accounts and enhance our business value proposition."
