FINEOS, a leading European provider of enterprise solutions for banking and insurance, has further expanded its UK operation with a series of high-profile appointments in the area of business development. The appointment of international financier James McNaught-Davis as a non-executive director has also been announced.

These appointments are in line with the company's development strategy to rapidly expand its local offices throughout the country, and to bolster its team of professional insurance and banking consultants.

Tony Fajimolu joins FINEOS from Sunguard Systems where he was European Business Development Manager and Allen Butcher joins from KPMG, where he worked as a Business Development Manager in their Financial Services sector. David Waring has also joined from Sigma Management Systems, where he was Chief Executive Officer and Head of Sales.

McNaught-Davis has 16 years experience in mergers, acquisitions, investments and other aspects of corporate finance. He has been a partner and managing director of Warburg Pincus, the leading international private equity and venture capital firm, where he led the firm's technology investment activity in Europe. Previously, McNaught-Davis was a senior manager at Misys PLC, the software business that, due to his lead, acquired several banking software companies during the early 1990s. He has also worked as an investment banker with Schroders and Merrill Lynch, where he advised clients on raising capital.

Tony O'Halloran, Managing Director of FINEOS UK commented on the appointments: "I am confident that Tony, Allen and David's experience of selling software to some of the major financial institutions across Europe, coupled with the relationships they have built up in this sector, will enable FINEOS to succeed in fulfilling its plans for rapid growth and expansion.”

“All of these appointments are crucial for us as we look to consolidate and build on our success to date in the financial services market," said Michael Kelly, CEO of FINEOS. "James will bring a vast wealth of investment and corporate finance experience to FINEOS. With his track record in the international financial services technology market, he will be a major asset as we grow our business to a global level."
