Quaero, LLC, has release of a new report* to take the guesswork out of selecting a campaign management software solution.

Endorsed by The Direct Marketing Association (DMA), the report saves the self-screen of CRM tools. Because of this, The DMA plans to promote it extensively to members.

Despite the fact that CRM investments are growing at an annual compounded growth rate of 54%, many companies have been slow to implement key technologies because of the lack of knowledge, fear of costs and implementation difficulties.

“Quaero offers in-depth research providing detailed product comparisons of campaign management tools and other marketing solutions, combined with business, marketing and technical consulting, and outsourced delivery of services,” said Harry Watkins, research director for CRM at the Aberdeen Group.

Conducted by Quaero’s research and education arm, the report offers a review of 22 leading campaign management tools evaluated on the basis of functionality, flexibility and technical architecture.

“The campaign management landscape has changed significantly since the initial study was released in May of last year,” commented Quaero CEO Naras Eechambadi. “Besides market consolidation, our research reveals a major trend towards the convergence of operational and analytical CRM. Many vendors have also upgraded their capabilities to address multiple customer touch points.”

Vendors evaluated in the report include: Akio Solutions; Annuncio Software; Aprimo; BoldFish; Broadbase Software; Decision Software; Delano Technology Corporation; Digital Impact; E.piphany; e2 Communications; eGain Communications Corp.; MarketFirst Software; Matrix Technology Group; Lodgistics.com; MessageMedia; NCR Corporation; PrimeResponse; Protagona Worldwide; Responsys; SAS Institute; Siebel Systems; Talisma Corporation, and Unica Corporation.
