Rare Medium and webMethods ally to serve the Global 2000

WebMethods, a provider of business-to-business integration (B2Bi) solutions, and Rare Medium have announced a strategic alliance to deliver end-to-end B2Bi solutions to the Global 2000 marketplace.

As part of the company’s expanding e-commerce practice, Rare Medium will incorporate webMethods B2B into its solution set and will provide customers with a broad range of consulting and implementation services to execute B2B e-commerce strategies.

Phillip Merrick, CEO of webMethods, said: “Through the alliance, we will enable our customers to create new revenue streams, increase returns on investments and strengthen relationships by seamlessly linking customers, suppliers and business partners in tightly integrated B2B trading networks.”

As a part of the alliance, the two companies will pursue joint sales and marketing opportunities in financial services, telecommunications and high-tech manufacturing.

Rare Medium is a member of webMethods’ B2B Rapid Integration Team, a programme that provides consulting and support services to integrate trading partners with trading networks and exchanges built on webMethods B2B.
