Recognition Systems and Cedar PMPL have announced a partnership which will benefit financial and insurance organisations.
Protagona, Recognition Systems’ customer experience and campaign management software will be licensed alongside Cedar’s eContent data management, warehousing and data migration solutions for eBusiness.
Bryan Black, CEO of Recognition Systems said: “Combining Protagona and eContent will be an advantage for marketers by bringing data into one system, giving information about customer behaviour and preferences. The database will enable companies to conduct personalised marketing campaigns and, ultimately, make businesses more profitable.”
Mike Harrison, managing director of Cedar Group, commented, "I am very excited about our venture with Recognition Systems as it will enhance our product offering, particularly in the US financial services industry. Survival in the eWorld takes more than just a web site – it requires better customer knowledge than your competitor – and the ability to use that knowledge effectively. Wherever you look, enterprises are struggling to migrate or mine the data trapped inside old systems, and apply it to their new eBusiness world.”
Bryan Black added: "Technological advances such as the Internet and mobile communications will help US insurers and bankers to cross-sell financial products and make greater use of new distribution tools and the latest channels to market. Personalised marketing and improved customer relationship management is essential, and differentiation via customer service will become vital to a company’s survival."
Recognition Systems has already made significant advances into this market via its Chicago office. Partnerships include Aegon Insurance Group; Assurant Group and Guaranteed Reserve Life Insurance Co.
