SAP says CRM sales figures are up

With immaculate timing in the light of Siebel’s protestations this week, SAP claims sales of CRM software represented $389 million out of $6.42 billion in total revenue last year, or 6 per cent of 2001 revenue. It also claims the number two position in the overall CRM market. The company says more than 1,500 companies are using its CRM software.
