SAS director named president of DataFlux

Tony Fisher, a 15-year employee of SAS Institute, has been appointed president of DataFlux, a data quality product provider acquired in June by SAS.

Fisher, who previously served as SAS’ director of data warehouse technology, will be responsible for orchestrating a collaboration of SAS and DataFlux technologies. He replaces Stephen Wiehe, who has moved into SAS’ business development and strategic investment division.

Founded in 1996, DataFlux is based in North Carolina, US.
