Shanghai Roche chosen Siebel ePharma to help standardise its sales and marketing reporting. At the moment, these reports are generated from hardcopy records held in a variety of separate departments. It is envisaged that Siebel ePharma will provide the means for Shanghai Roche to unify information gather from multiple channels and location, into a single repository of customer information. It should also allow healthcare sales representatives to initiate and access customer transaction data in real time, prepare for more productive sales calls, and provide regular, efficient reports without any of the delays associated with traditional paper-based systems.
It is also hoped that Siebel ePharma will support Roche's sales and marketing professionals in the measurement and evaluation business performance in relation to customers, products, sales and marketing, enabling them to create more accurate customer profiles, thus allowing for successful, finely-targeted campaigns.
