Siebel Japan K.K., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Siebel Systems, Inc, is due to extend the company's presence in Japan, by increasing the availability of its eBusiness Applications to the Japanese Marketplace. It is expected that this expansion should enable Siebel to provide better service and support directly to its customers in Japan. In developing the new strategy Siebel will also be drawing on some of its high-profile partners including IBM Japan, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Accenture.

"The new business model will provide increased levels of service and support for our customer base in Japan, allowing them to further maximize their return on investment from Siebel eBusiness Applications," said Murray Creighton, Vice President and General Manager of Asia-Pacific and Japan for Siebel Systems, Inc. "The increased presence of our Global Services Organization in Japan, which encompasses technical account management, end user training and professional services, will also provide our customers with extended support throughout their implementations, working in a cooperative teaming model with our key alliance partners in Japan."

"Siebel Japan's focus on building strong relationships with world-class alliance partners is a cornerstone of our business that will further our success in the marketplace. We put the strategic alliance model in the center of our go-to-market strategy in Japan," said Yutaka Aoki, President, Siebel Systems Japan K.K. "We are extremely fortunate to have strong relationships with the leading technology companies from Japan and around the world, all dedicated to achieving 100% satisfaction for our customers."
