What are my options to establish a CRM Program?

I just took a job as the sales support person for a full service moving, storage, & transportation company and agent for one of the major van lines. Most of our customers are one-time customers with the occasional repeat business. We tend to have long-term relationship with our business customers. Lead resources are from Yellow Pgs, internet, branding signage and referrals.

We want to cultivate an effective relationship and provide excellent service in the short time that we serve our customers.

We use GoldMine 4.0 to schedule appointments for our sales force. However, we don't enter the customers as contact records, just into the notes fields. So, we have no way to track customers. We have a 5-user license and 9-10 users. We have 6 salespeople.

Our goals are to follow-up & track leads and sales, track ROI for marketing, and track referral sources for an incentive program.

We want to use existing resources, minimize training and not make a huge up-front investment. Phasing in is OK.

I proposed the need and have support from the top for the idea, but I need to put a price tag on options to compare the value between options and develop a long-term strategy for establishing the CRM Program.

HELP!

salesforce.com is very inexpensive ($65 per month per user), very scaleable, and very easy to use. Go to their website.
