So, I would be interested to know where I can evaluate Open Source CRM solutions.

I have tried Compiere, but it does not work particularly well.

No doubt, there are real high end CRM solutions out there, but just where are they ?

http://www.midgard-project.org

It's a freeware application development tool that is primarily a contact mgt system. It has a meta-data layer that I'm sure would support the building of some customised CRM functionality.

It's based on PHP and I've used PHP to build something similar myself. Very easy and I picked it up in a few weeks.

Hope this helps

Dear Mr. Carson,

I'm programmer who develop sales force automation running on pocketpc/handheld which replication data between handheld device and data on server you just need one programmer to receive information from me.

- initial cost very low.
- 100% open source code and instruction. So, you can modify or extend the system to be the CRM which you need.
- Using new technology (Visual eMbedded 3.0 (VB) and SQL Server 2000/2000CE)

e-mail to me and what is your requirement by detail I will send the solution and open source code to you.
