As the Senior Director of Marketing for Mapp Digital, Omar Janabi is responsible for Mapp Digital’s global marketing strategy, demand generation, channel and customer marketing and overall brand engagement and loyalty.
With over 19 years’ experience in software and digital marketing, Omar has worked with top global brands providing leadership, strategy and execution with a track record in bringing to market different products, services and innovations starting with Mobile Browsing back in 1999.
As a visionary marketing leader, Omar has been leading the data-driven marketing revolution and the transformation of marketing to a strategic function with focus on customer and brand engagement.
Omar started his career with Fujitsu and has also held senior marketing positions at Nokia, NSN and Experian with a focus on increasing brand visibility and awareness, acquiring new customers, generating demand, and enhancing customer engagement and brand loyalty.
Prior to the launch of Mapp Digital in September 2016, Omar held the position of Director of Marketing, EMEA and APAC at Teradata, where he was responsible for bringing to market the Integrated Marketing Cloud and creating brand visibility and awareness in multiple markets, as well as increasing customer loyalty and brand affinity.
Omar has a degree in Software Engineering and an MBA from Warwick Business School.
