In their latest edition of the Changes in Consumer Habits series, Intouch Insight dive into how expectations have changed over the last year for restaurants and the food sector.
Through surveys carried out three times over the past 11 months, there is a clear change in which factors are of most importance to consumers when visiting restaurants - with cleaniness remaining high on the list for customers, but being overtaken by quality of food since the first survey in May 2020.
