Box has introduced a new integration that will allow its collaboration services to be supported in Salesforce.com CRM.

Salesforce.com customers can now access Box Embed in the Salesforce AppExchange to add collaboration and workflow functionality.

Box for Salesforce provides collaboration tools inside a Salesforce record, such as Box Edit, comments, tasks and access management, as well as file previews within user records.

"Box's ecosystem of platform partners enables us to act as a central hub for business content," said Aaron Levie, co-founder and CEO of Box. "Our integration with Salesforce delivers an amazing collaboration experience across the enterprise and we'll continue to innovate with them to help customers build successful businesses."

Ron Huddleston, senior vice president, ISV and Channel at Salesforce.com, added: "As a part of our partner ecosystem, Box is leveraging the power of the Salesforce Platform to help customers be more connected, collaborative and productive."
