Enterprise app developer DoubleDutch has launched Hive, a mobile CRM app that provides context to customer contacts.
Integrated with existing CRM systems such as Salesforce.com, Hive declares itself the “first mobile CRM app” using contextual triggers based on a salesperson’s location to provide better customer intelligence.
With geolocation services, salespeople can receive a prompt whilst with the customer, reminding them to log the visit. Additionally, the app logs any emails or calls sent to the customer from the salesperson’s device and displays all customer information 15 minutes before an arranged meeting.
Designed with a “mobile first” approach, Hive also leverages gamification, such as points and leader boards, to drive adoption and engagement of the app among sales staff.
Lawrence Coburn, founder and CEO of DoubleDutch, said: “With Hive, we’re not re-inventing CRM, we’re making it a pleasure to use on the device you work with most.
“Our customers have shown they use our product about 50 times more often than other non-mobile products with more complicated, traditional CRM interfaces. That means businesses are going to have greater visibility into their customer pipeline and better results overall, not to mention ROI on their CRM investment.”
Hive is now available for free on both iPhone and Android mobile devices, up to three users. Premium and Enterprise versions are also available at $20 and $40 per seat/month respectively.
