Our first ever winners were chosen by thousands of voters — to overuse the term, crowdsourced by them — and by the extended judges panel which consisted of subject matter experts and thought leaders from around the industry. Each group was responsible for 50% of the vote. The primary judges then applied their scoring “algorithm” to the totals and the winners then became clear though the races were often really tight.
But we have the winners and they are the first CRM Idol winners ever and I think we all owe Get Satisfaction a round of applause and in fact, would like to thank all the other finalists for their videos and their effort and the quality of their products, services, teams, and presentations that got them to the finals.
This was a great contest and we’ll be contacting the winners to find out how they want to handle their prizes over the next week. Plus in a few weeks’ time, they will be getting a CRM Idol winners badge to celebrate their remarkable work and their, we think, great futures.
More coming, but remember next year is right around the corner. Once again, congrats to both Get Satisfaction for their hard earned victory. As we said on day one, “this contest is easy to enter, but hard to win” — and they won. Deservedly.
