CRM vendors line up for Business Satisfaction successby
The CRM category nominations are in for the 2007 Sift Media Business Software Satisfaction Awards, rewarding high standards from software application providers serving UK businesses.
In 2006, the Awards were issued to vendors of accounting and tax software applications - this year, there are 19 categories across the business disciplines of: accounting & finance; human resources; training; CRM; and customer management.
“We're proud to say that the Awards are based on the views of genuine buyers and end-users of business software applications - not those of a judging panel,” says Steve Roth, managing editor of Sift Media. “This means that the awards act as a valuable guide to any business taking the decision to purchase new software applications.”
The nominations were collected through the various Sift Media communities, including MyCustomer.com. Respondents were asked to rate software for ease of use, functionality, reliability and value for money. The scores were then combined to give an overall mean.
Competition in the CRM section is tough and likely to be highly personal. Arch-rivals Sage and Salesforce.com lead the nomination field with three each, followed by SAP with two mentions. Relative newcomer Microsoft Dynamics chalks up a nomination in the Small Business CRM category alongside the more established Sage and Salesforce.com. Elsewhere familiar names such as Oracle and Onyx are also in the field alongside newcomers like NetSuite.
The full list of nominees are (by category, in alphabetical order):
Sage for Sage CRM

Sage for Sage ACT

The Business Software Satisfaction Awards 2007 will be presented at an evening ceremony on Tuesday 9 October 2007, at The Brewery (www.thebrewery.co.uk) in London, EC1.
