Oracle has hired Accenture Chief Financial Officer Harry You to succeed long-time CFO Jeff Henley.

You will report to Chief Executive Larry Ellison in his new job. Prior to joining Accenture, he was managing director in charge of the Computer and Business Services Group at Morgan Stanley, where he worked with Oracle Executive President Chuck Phillips, who had been a top software analyst at Morgan Stanley.

Previously, You had been senior vice president of the General Industrial Group at Lehman Brothers, where he was responsible for corporate finance coverage of conglomerates and information technology companies. He had also been vice president at Salomon Brothers Inc., where he was responsible for coverage of the U.S. units of Asian clients and for running Salomon's South Korea office.

Earlier in his career, You had served as advisor to the board of Lucky-Goldstar International, the predecessor company of LG Group of South Korea. He also had been an economist and assistant to the director of the International Monetary Fund and a Federal Reserve liaison for the U.S. Treasury Department.

You leaves Accenture during a time of management transition. In April, the company named Chief Operating Officer William D. Green to succeed Joe W. Forehand as CEO on 1st September. In June, it named Stephen J. Rohleder COO effective the same date, with Stephan A. James retiring as vice chairman the day before.
