Batchbook has announced the latest version of its social CRM designed for small businesses.

The new edition offers a major update to the previous design and features and includes new capabilities such as custom field sets and ‘champions tagging’ for organisations to target their best customers.

The Cloud-based solution also includes the ability to layer in social data such as contact information, news feeds and avatars for more meaningful customer interactions.

Batchbook CEO Pamela O’Hara said: “CRM can be tricky for small businesses.Tight, personal relationships are the backbone of small, local businesses. That can never be replaced by mass mailings and automated communications. We’ve built Batchbook to keep the personal connections while adding efficiency to the hectic small business owner’s day.”

Batchbook also now offers unlimited users on every account level, enabling organisations to share contact information and tasks.

Raymond Bonachea, VP of marketing for Batchbook, added: “Small businesses don’t have silos. They are often small teams who work closely together in support of their customers. Everyone on the team needs access to the same customer information, since everyone plays a role in making the customer happy. Batchbook makes sharing information, and tasks, easy.”
