New Nimble platform to lead SMES into the "social CRM age"

Nimble has launched a new platform that is says will lead small businesses into "the new social CRM age". 

Nimble 2.0, the software as a service (SaaS) product, adds enhanced features such as social discovery, improved usability and marketing integration to "empower companies" through listening and engagement.  

Social engagement tools include support for Facebook business pages and Google+ with social notifications consolidating all the likes, comments, friend invites and social interactions from LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Google+.  

The platform provides a new userface for contact records and marketing integration features capture information and provide interaction with customers.

Nimble incorporated a year's worth of customer feedback into the product, which it hopes will make Nimble 2.0 easier to use and more flexible. 

"Traditional CRM systems fail at relationship management and that’s why people don’t use them for engagement,” said Jon Ferrara, Nimble CEO. “The era of customer engagement is now, and it starts with listening. You can’t just snap social onto legacy CRM platforms and expect it to be effective."

He continues: "Nimble was built from the ground up for active social listening and engagement. We’re putting the ‘R’ (relationship) back into CRM, and with Nimble 2.0, we are disrupting the old CRM ways of doing business."

The platform can be used free of charge for standalone personal users, whereas business and multi-users can sign up for $15 per month.
