Enterprise software provider Moxie Software has further cemented its partnership with Microsoft with the announcement that it’s integrating Spaces by Moxie with Microsoft’s enterprise communications software, Lync.
Available from April 1, the integrated solution will enable contact centres to manage Lync phone calls through Moxie’s unified agent desktop. Contact centre agents will also be given access to Moxie’s multichannel solutions, including email, chat, self-service and social media.
Additionally, Lync’s future integration with Microsoft-owned Skype will enable customers wider access to multi-channel contact centers, the firm said in a statement.
The integrated solution will also integrate with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, following Moxie’s pervious partnership with Microsoft in November 2012.
Tom Kelly, president and CEO of Moxie Software, said: “The partnership between Moxie Software and Microsoft delivers an unbeatable solution for managing all customer interactions in sales and service contact centers worldwide.”
Fred Studer, GM for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, added: “It’s really exciting that businesses can now leverage the power of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Lync together with Moxie Software’s leading omni-channel and knowledge management capabilities.
“This is not only a winning combination, but also a cost effective solution that will provide enterprises of all sizes greater ability to connect with their customers and collaborate in real-time to meet critical business goals.”
The solution combining Microsoft’s Lync with Spaces by Moxie is available from 1 April.
