In a recent Gartner survey of business leaders, 89% predicted that customer experience would be their primary basis for competitive differentiation by 2017. And so often it is the customer support function that can make or break the entire experience.
This comes as no surprise to many of the most successful business leaders in history, most of whom have built the foundations for their organisations on the foundations of good customer service.
From Steve Jobs to Richard Branson to Henry Ford, the best leaders have instinctively understood the importance of customer service.

It's pretty clear there are a few oversights with this one. Marilyn Suttle being a prime example.
"Thank your customer for complaining and mean it. Most will never bother to complain. They'll just walk away."
"How you think about your customers influences how you respond to them."
