Weather Services International (WSI), the world's leading provider of weather data and graphics services for broadcasters, has added Sage CRM SalesLogix Support to expand its customer support and sales operations as well as expanding its wider CRM implementation to include international operations managed from the company's UK headquarters.
Sage CRM SalesLogix Support specifically enables WSI customer support and sales representatives to acquire a precise view of all open customer help tickets and improve up-selling and cross-selling capacity. Sage CRM SalesLogix is also integrated with WSI's customer Web portal which helps elevate customer acquisition rates through improved lead conversion and remote access to key account information.
"Weather forecasting is a real-time business," said Karen Brooks, WSI's vice president of customer care. "When a customer has a question or service request, we need to address it immediately and closely monitor their situation, especially when confronted with extreme conditions like the hurricane season of 2005.
“The addition of Sage CRM SalesLogix Support helps us provide better customer service by allowing our customer support and sales representatives more visibility into account status, whether they are on location or at headquarters. Sage CRM SalesLogix plays a key role in winning new customers and helping improve our customers' satisfaction."
Gene Rubin, WSI southeast region sales account manager, added, "During the severe weather events of 2005, we were able to monitor customers in locations including Florida and Louisiana in real-time to immediately determine if they were having problems and provide instantaneous support."
