Another gong is coming the way of Larry Ellison, but it seems unlikely that this one’s going to be adorning the shelves of Oracle headquarters in California.
Ellison is one of the recipients of the annual Big Brother Awards given out to government, corporations and private individuals who allegedly have done the most to threaten personal privacy. They are presented by Privacy International, a UK organisation made up of privacy experts and human rights organisations from dozens of countries.
Ellison won the mantle of "Worst Corporate Invader". Other awards included "Most Invasive Company," "Most Appalling Project" and "Lifetime Menace." The award is a tasteful golden statue depicting a jackboot pressing down on a human head.
