Siebel Delivers FO Applications

Siebel Systems, a leading supplier of Web-based, front office applications has unveiled its sales, marketing and customer service applications on IBM's DB2 Universal Database.

With this release, organisations using the DB2 Universal Database can now deploy Siebel Front Office Applications to manage and co-ordinate all customer touchpoints including the Web, call centre, field and business partner channels.

"Siebel Front Office for DB2 is the industry's most scalable front office solution," claimed David Schmaier, Senior Products VP at Siebel.   "The combination of Siebel's front office software with IBM's advanced DB2 Universal Database allows even the largest global organisations to easily and quickly deploy highly scalable, state-of-the-art solutions that harness the full power of the Internet to establish and maintain customer relationships.
