Tobacco and CRM

Which companies are the most equipped to provide CRM into the Tobacco industry and could anyone suggest a an excellent sales guy who deals with this in particular?

The industry in itself has just begun maturing enough to provide various verticals. The tobacco industry is not one of them, and likely will not be anytime soon. Tobacco companies, like many other companies provide a manufactured product. For this reason, they have similar attributes to a company such as Kraft (a Philip Morris company).

As an example, I can tell you that Philip Morris uses SAP for some of its CRM. Imperial tobacco employs Siebel for Sales Force Automation.

I am not aware of any particular company that has implemented CRM specifically within a Tobacco Companies. What you will generally find is that most vendors in typical CRM can implement across the board in data rich industries. Companies that would be best placed to assist you would depemding on your specific ambitions for CRM. Customer Value or Relationship Management. May be worth looking at some of the SAP solutions or speaking to Qube Consulting for ideas and approaches to Customer Value Management.
