Trigent Software has bought over Enterprise Knowledge Systems (EKS), a provider of enterprise configuration management solutions. With the acquisition comes a Fortune 500 customer base, additional office space - and business talent.

“EKS assembled a very talented team of people. We look forward to their contribution to Trigent’s technology and integration expertise,” said Jay Boyle, CEO of Trigent. “The ability to capture, manage, and exploit product configuration information throughout the enterprise is a daunting task,” continued Boyle. “We can now offer clients a highly customizable solution to enable mass customization while minimizing time, effort, and expertise.”

Trigent will build upon EKS’ application for complex order tracking, supply chain management and product customization.

Chuck Rehberg, chief technology officer at Trigent, noted, “The DCP solution’s approach to configuration knowledge management is unique. Unlike many configuration products which progressively limit choices, this solution uses artificial intelligence to allow customers to select all their desired parameters.”
