Onyx Software and AvantGo have formed a strategic alliance to deliver mobile CRM solutions giving access to customer information anytime, anywhere.
AvantGo’s mobile infrastructure software combined with Onyx’s XML-based platform will offer a wireless solution for a mobile market estimated to be $13 billion by 2005.
“For most Fortune 1000 companies, customer management is not confined to call centres, but takes place continuously in the field,” said Bill Bunker, vice-president of product marketing at Onyx. “By combining the power of our CRM solution with AvantGo’s mBusiness platform, users will have a tremendous competitive advantage.”
As a result of the alliance, AvantGo will expand the mCRM capabilities within its product suite. It also plans to deploy the mobile solution internally.
